Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Enterprise Integration Delivery Manager and based onsite at our Homebush-West franchisor office, this hands-on role in our Enterprise Applications team involves designing, developing, and managing the lifecycle of our Microsoft Azure API capabilities. You will deliver solutions for both internal and external customers, leading a team that engages and collaborates with IT and business stakeholders to ensure secure, resilient, and seamless data exchange and communication between diverse systems globally.

Responsibilities include;

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the API team, enhancing their capabilities and skills through effective coaching and development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of integration and architectures to technical solutions with business objectives and requirements.
  • Oversee major API initiatives and projects, ensuring they meet current and future needs, while gathering stakeholder feedback to enhance service quality and business enablement.
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of APIs, from solution design to detailed execution, ensuring successful project completion.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed within target timeframes and are consistently of high-quality.
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement and feedback.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and automation and API documentation.
  • Identify bottlenecks and architectural weaknesses, and propose solutions to optimise security, performance, and scalability.
  • Ensure enhancements are being prioritised based on their potential to address user needs and pain points and minimise disruption by embracing incremental change.
  • Ensure API’s are scalable, secure and performance and implement and enforce security best practices.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of API services.
