Job Description

• Minimum of 8 to 10+ years of experience in Appian application support and development of BPM based solutions with proven skills in the following technologies Appian 19.x, Appian 20.x, 21.X and above Database, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL Web Services, SOAP/REST, HTML, XML, JSON JIRA, Confluence, Rally Appian Sites, Appian Records, UX design, SAML, OAuth Framework. Experience in leading application support engagement, monitoring, tracking progress, reporting with metrics, ensuring on applications performance and availability. Experience with System integration, Mobile application, Portal application and extended interface applications development and production support using Appian suite. Appian L2  (or above) certification is must. Have worked on production application support and development, Strong problem solving and design skills, Hands-on experience with Incident Management, Problem Management, Appian development, Good understanding of Appian architecture, best practices and BPMN standards.  Experience in production support, Appian plug-in development and system integrations in in-house and cloud hosted environments. Experience relational databases management systems, data modelling, database design, and Structured Query Language (SQL). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good at stakeholder management

• We are currently seeking an experienced, skilled information technology candidate in the role of senior Business Analyst. This role demands responsibility for prioritizing the work with the Product Owner, clarifying requirements, Project Planning and tracking, responsible performing gap analysis, coordinate with different teams & stakeholders, assist in testing and actively get involved in production issues.
• Participate and contribute to the relevant workshops (business and IT) which aims to clarify requirements and scope definition.
• Appropriate walkthrough be carried out and ensure sign-offs are secured to finalize the document
• Good to have experience in the investment banking domain,
• Should have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Should be on the front foot and not have to be guided.
• Documentation of current state of systems or processes linked to this project.
• Carrying out the analysis required to iron-out or beef up the business requirements, this will require effective working relationship with associated system SME’s.
• Participate in the applicable test phases ensuring that systems are tested thoroughly according to the business requirements and functional specification document
• Creation of applicable documentations (e.g. System documents) as and when applicable
• Support the Project Manager in completing the applicable Non Functional Requirements (NFR)
• Maintain full and up-to-date understanding of the business strategy
• Good understanding of Agile practices (Writing detailed Jira stories)
• Experience in performing analysis using various tools, like excel, Word, PPT, Visios and present the same to relevant stakeholders
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum and associate software’s like Jira, Confluence.

• Appian Tester with Automation Testing Skills Java,Selenium,Cucumber,Jenkins
• Participate during project initiation, understanding the requirements, prepare/assist in test estimation, formulate test strategy or Test Plan
• Task Allocation and Monitoring, Co-ordinate and Manage Test Schedules
• Coordinate with Project Manager about the Test environment, Prepare Test Bed, Test Data for execution.
• Conduct reviews and inspections of test deliverables and provide feedback to the team.
• Execute tests, track and monitor defects to closure and produce test metrics and test report (DSR/WSR) to be shared with Stakeholders.
• Responsible for Test Automation (BDD)adoption as per enterprise Technology Appian Strategy, preferably using Cucumber on top of selenium.
• Implement creative and innovative ways of testing to meet project goals without compromising quality and proactively identifying potential delivery related issues and arriving at mitigation plan.
• Provide Suggestions/feedback in refining testing practices and methodologies.
• Should have understanding of Agile Concepts, Safe framework or Scrum framework.
• Ability to coordinate with teams involved and provide support to all interfacing application/Systems impacted for project.
• Ensure constructive working relationships within team and with other functional groups and compliance to laid down organization wide process and operations guidelines.
• A Strong technical knowledge and understanding of functional system testing and UAT
• Experience in selenium and BDD framework along with cucumber
• Knowledge of API tools like Soap UI, Postman, REST etc., framework designing
• Strong exposure to SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Have thorough understanding of Devops, CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, GitHub and should implement the same as per Enterprise Technology Strategy in all projects.
• Understanding of test management tools, JIRA, ALM and Confluence.
• Act as a subject matter expert. Experience is troubleshooting the performance issue, bottlenecks. Designing workload models , Executing performance tests.
• Excellent multitasking ability - Must have ability to track multiple issues, effectively manage time and competing priorities, and to drive results through partner organizations.
