The Wallet, Payments and Commerce team is responsible for bringing ground-breaking financial services to consumers with a vision to replace the physical wallet and help people live financially healthier lives. The Marketing team helps generate excitement for, and drive adoption of these Wallet services in EMEIA. We are now looking for a seasoned Marketing Manager to play a crucial role in helping develop ways to educate people throughout the customer journey. The role is based in London at our Battersea Power Station office and is part of the Wallet, Payments and Commerce (WPC) EMEIA Team.

DESCRIPTION

As our ideal candidate, you are results oriented. You will develop and deliver strategies and communications focusing on the benefits and places to use Apple Pay at scale across EMEIA. Both with proven channels plus innovative ways to engage and educate customers. You will work with internal and external creative agencies and cross functional teams to make this a reality. RESPONSIBILITIES - Develop marketing in Apple’s own and paid media channels to drive consumer adoption of Apple Pay. - Write and deliver creative briefs and manage creative development from inception to execution. - Coordinate and manage internal and external cross functional teams to brief and develop comms. - Work with internal data science and media specialists on performance to identify key marketing activities that deliver the best results by testing, optimising and rolling out technologies, platforms and strategies at Apple. - Ensure all activities accentuate the Apple Pay proposition. - Manage budgets and have a high standard for business conduct, financial accountability and transparency. - Partner with Product Marketing, PR, Creative and Media agencies and the WPC/Apple Pay teams in London and in the USA. - Provide regular communications to senior management on marketing strategy and results. - Travel required, as needed.

  • Experience of delivering new customer acquisition and education campaigns in a direct to consumer environment.
  • Experience of strategic ability to lead on writing briefs, managing implementation and work cross functionally to deliver marketing programmes across multiple touch points.
  • Experience of leading creative development across different EMEIA geographical territories within a company or agency.
  • Ability to influence, sell concepts and actively drive execution across many team members.
  • Expertise in building cases around market opportunities - including strategy development, market segmentation, competitive analysis, and financial analysis.Energetic and collaborative teammate who feeds off of goal setting and achievement.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exposure to working on a global brand, ideally in financial services or other relevant industry.
  • A deep understanding of product marketing, financial competence, analytical rigour and a passion for emerging mobile and web products.
  • 12+ years marketing experience.
  • BA/BSc Hons & ideally relevant Marketing (eg CIM) qualification.
  • 2nd European language.
