As part of AppleCare Global Operations Finance, you will team up with key stakeholders to ensure flawless execution of AppleCare Insurance programs. You will be a member of a team focused on efficiently delivering settlements with insurance partners globally. You will demonstrate a passion, energy and focus on developing and growing multi-million dollar business programs and processes. This is a challenging role in a fast-paced environment.

DESCRIPTION

Execute insurance settlement for both systemised and manually managed programs for Premium, Claims and Reinsurance. Perform key activities needed to enable a more seamless end-to-end systemised settlement, e.g. insurance pricing and rate reviews; tracking EDI fallout and error management; maintaining rebate agreements Use expert analytical skills to investigate impact of system issues or project gaps, following through to resolution and identification of any manual settlement needed with insurance partners. Have an insatiable curiosity to become a SME in our systems and processes in order to drive efficiency, accuracy and simplicity, as well as operationalise new processes. Participate in project life cycle to ensure automation of EDI communication and settlement is maintained, or improved where possible. Calculate accruals values for Finance on a quarterly basis. Maintain excellent relationships with key internal and external business partners through regular, open communications.

  • 5+ years experience in Finance or Operations within a high performance organisation.
  • Advanced Excel and knowledge of SAP and Tableau is essential.
  • Strong quantitative and decision-making skills with ability to synthesize and distill large amounts of data into action plans.Analytical orientation and strong executional track record.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Self-starter with experience of successfully engineering/optimising business processes.
  • Proven success working collaboratively within teams and cross-functionally.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with strong networking ability.
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or equivalent, an advantage.
