Description:
We are looking for a friendly and professional person to join our team and provide administrative/secretarial support to the Appliance and Therapy Department. You will be based in the Therapy Department at Treliske and be part of the Clinical Support Care Group.
The successful candidate will have a flexible approach, possess excellent communication skills, must be reliable, well organised and able to work well as part of a team or independently.
You will need to be totally committed to providing a high quality, accurate administrative service.
This is a part time post working 30 hours per week - Monday - Friday.
Main duties will include ensuring orders are processed and invoices raised for payment of received goods, answering queries both face to face and over the telephone and dealing with messages appropriately. Other duties include dealing with mail and parcels, photocopying, filing and maintaining stock and supplies, inputting data on the computer, sending notes for scanning and obtaining notes for other departments.
You will also provide secretarial/admin services for the Therapists and work as part of the Clinical Admin Team to type letters, outcome appointments, help validate patient pathways and process queries regarding waiting times.
