Description:
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team to service Hamilton region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and have experience in appliance repair, including electrical and HVAC systems. As an Appliance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances while providing exceptional customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have TSSA G3 or DA
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to read schematics is essential.
- Experience in HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license may be required for travel to customer locations.

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose issues with appliances and determine appropriate repair methods.
- Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems effectively.
- Assemble and disassemble appliances as needed for repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and any additional services required.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns professionally and courteously.
- Stay updated with the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.
