DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:

BREADTH & DEPTH

• Primary subject matter expert in multiple areas and consults with clients/or project teams with respect to all aspects of operational support / solutions
• Works independently and/or autonomously as a senior/ lead on a diverse range of tasks / operational support of solutions and is relied upon to coach/ educate others
• Assignments are highly complex and multifaceted
• May monitor, coach/ educate a small team of IT professionals
• Acts as a key resource in the exchange of technical information for project teams, the business and/or outside vendors
• Generally reports to a Senior Manager or Executive

Required Experience we’re seeking :

• We have an immediate opening for Application DBA part of TDS/TBSM Production Engineering (PE).
• Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
• Graduate degree, preferred
• 7+ years relevant experience
• You are an experienced Engineer, worked closely with development teams defining Telemetry, Observability, implementing build, deployment, and monitoring standards for DEV & SRE teams
• You bring in wholistic automation and hands-on product and platform engineering, application/infrastructure transformation, rationalization & modernization initiatives in the large banks
• Must have hands on with Oracle 19c and MSSQL 2019 administration experience
• Must have experience with Replication, Data Migrations, RAC and ensuring HA & DR
• Must have experience with Data Archiving, Purging and Partition maintenance
• Nice to to have exposure to any of the NoSQL databases, Cassandra, MongoDB and MariaDB
• Exposure to Banking & Finance domains and Regulatory space.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
