Application Developer

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer III to join our dynamic team. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in diverse technology stacks and significant experience in large-scale application development projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in programming languages, frameworks, and cloud technologies, along with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered

• US Citizen and ability to pass a public trust investigation
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in application development.
• Proficient in C, C#, .Net Framework, VB.Net, Java, Spring framework, Tomcat, JPA, Restful APIs, Angular, HTML5, CSS and SCSS.
• Experience with Oracle 19C, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and Crystal Reports.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, especially AWS, EKS, AWS Lambda, and Docker.
• Demonstrated ability in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• Familiarity with AWS SQS and the implementation of scalable messaging solutions.
• Understanding and experience with 508 compliance and accessibility standards.
• Proficiency in unit testing and JUnit/nUnit frameworks.
• Experienced in Agile/Scrum and Kanban methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• Experience with NGINX High Performance Web Server
• Knowledge of 508 Testing Tools: ANDI / Deque Axe

• Design, develop, and implement complex applications using a mix of technologies including C, C#, .Net, Java, Angular, HTML5, CSS and SCSS.
• Work with ASP.NET, TIBCO, and SOA to create robust service-oriented architectures.
• Develop and manage databases using Oracle 19C, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL.
• Implement and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS technologies such as EKS, Lambda, and Docker.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for efficient and reliable automated deployments.
• Ensure messaging reliability and performance between systems using AWS SQS.
• Develop accessible applications adhering to 508 compliance standards.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to maintain high-quality software standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable plans.
• Provide expert guidance and leadership to junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development practices.
