CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer Cloud FullStack opening for our client in Raleigh, NC.
Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 18 months

SKILLS:

  • File sharing, Ceph, Linux Storage, docker, Python, Netapp,
  • Specialized Skills:
  • Candidate MUST have strong understanding of storage subsystems (like NetApp) and concepts like iSCSI, FCP, NFS, FCoE, DASD, NVMe, HTTP, SAN, NAS, block storage, file storage, object storage, Linux Storage, SDS (Software defined Storage solutions like Ceph) etc.
  • Programming Language: GoLang, REST API with backend application development
  • Knowledge of Containers (for eg. docker / Podman etc) & related technologies like container registries, Dockerfiles, creating container images, deploying containers etc.
  • Knowledge of Linux basics including packing, package managers, working with system services, distro specific development etc.
  • Knowledge of working with Linux distros like Ubuntu
  • Good knowledge of Virtualization like hypervisor, Virtual Machines, Bare Metal, Partitions etc and infrastructure/system management.
  • General understanding of open source projects; experience with open source community contribution can be an added advantage
    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
