QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or a related fields
• Should have at least 2+ years of experience in COBOL
• Must have experience in Wealth Management Advisory Solutions
• Strong understanding of COBOL programming language and related technologies.
• Familiarity with mainframe environments, databases (such as DB2 or VSAM), and batch processing.
• Experience with modernizing or refactoring legacy COBOL applications is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail

• Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements
• Modify existing programs to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate COBOL systems with modern technologies, such as web services or cloud platforms.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other developers to ensure high-quality, efficient code.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing COBOL applications and provide timely resolutions.
• Document code and system processes for future reference and maintenance.
• Participate in requirements gathering and analysis to support the development of new COBOL-based functionalities.
