Description:

The Developer role involves providing application software development services and technical support for projects of moderate complexity. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, software design, coding, testing, and implementation using BNY Mellon’s standard development methodology. The position requires a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and collaboration with architects to deliver innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct reviews of test plans and test data
  • Write new programs of moderate complexity based on system designs and specifications
  • Design, code, test, and implement application programs
  • Analyze organizational needs for application systems development
  • Propose creative technology solutions to achieve team objectives

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Angular Development (Angular 18) with at least 5 years of experience
  • Experience in CSS/SCSS
  • Familiarity with Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Spring REST, Spring MVC, Spring Batch) and Hibernate
  • Knowledge of GIT CICD processes
  • Understanding of Webservices (REST, SOAP), Swagger documentation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline required
