We are now looking for an
Application Developer
To join our team in Delft, Emmen, or Nieuw Bergen, Netherlands. As an Application Developer, you will be a vital member of our regional IT team, reporting to the IT Business Solution team lead. Your main role will be to develop and maintain applications tailored to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and production floor environments, sales, warehouse, and R&D. You will focus on our locations in Delft, Emmen, or Nieuw Bergen, while also supporting the broader North Europe region.
You will engage in the entire application development lifecycle, from gathering user requirements to designing, coding, testing, and deploying robust solutions. Collaborating with IT business partners and stakeholders to drive process enhancements and best practices will be a significant aspect of your job. You will be a key player in advancing our digital transformation by creating applications that utilize new technologies and provide clear benefits.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
  • Demonstrated experience in application development within industry MES and production floor environments.
  • Proficiency in Visual Basic, SQL Server, and Database, and familiarity with contemporary development languages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of comprehending complex systems and business operations.
  • Experience in project management and a proven record of executing IT or business enhancement projects.
  • A keen interest in keeping abreast of the latest IT and Digital technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders, end-users, and technical teams across an international landscape.
  • A flexible and patient demeanor with a strong commitment to assist.
  • Fluent in English.
