Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive project plan that outlines the steps involved in the migration process, as well as timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the migration meets their requirements and expectations.
• Manage the migration and upgradation process of the databases from AIX, Solaris, HPUX, Windows, etc platform into Oracle ExaCC and into 19c.
• Identify potential risks and issues that may arise during the migration process and develop plans to mitigate them.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the progress of the migration, including any issues or delays that may occur.
• Ensure that the migrated database is thoroughly tested and validated to ensure that it is functioning properly and meets the required performance and functionality standards.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in database management and project management.
• Strong technical background in Oracle database management, database migration using available migration tools.
• Proven track record of managing or involvement in large scale Oracle database migrations and/or upgrade projects
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
