Introduction
We are seeking an Application Owner, Logistics to join our Metso IT Supply Chain Management team. You will be responsible for Logistics area applications life cycle management and development which includes SAP S/4 Hana SAP TM, GTS, EWM & IM and set of other applications. Your role plays a crucial part in logistics IT solution area, which will contribute to Metso Logistics operations. In this position, you will report to Director, Supply Chain Applications, Metso IT.
This position is mainly located in Tampere, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. Position can contain some travelling < 15%.

You will join a team of Supply Chain IT experts who are passionate about delivering best possible solutions to Metso and eager to make significant impact. We are currently building new applications, developing existing and implementing S/4 Hana.
We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Metso Logistics, business areas and logistics service providers.

The members in our team are located in Finland and Brazil.
What you’ll do
Ensure performance, availability, and quality of your applications.
Coordinate, delegate, and monitor IT work.
Collect and document requirements, perform functional analysis, design, build/test/document solutions, and transfer knowledge to stakeholders.
Independently manage techno-functional requirements and deliver an outcome.
Participate in IT tools and processes development, implementing Agile, DevOps, and ITIL practices.
Achieve business value metrics and KPIs: performance, availability, satisfaction, usability, security, and cost.
Address application service topics and changes, provide feedback, and act as a subject matter expert.
Take on special project/program/product delivery IT responsibilities as needed.
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information management, logistics, supply chain, or economics, and have over 4 years of IT and supply chain experience.
Strong knowledge in S/4 Hana SAP TM, GTS, EWM & IM solutions, and a solid understanding of SAP architecture. Your expertise includes also SAP ABAP and integration technologies like Proxy, IDOC, RFC, and APIs.
Development experience in enhancements, workflows, forms, reports, and various SAP technologies.
Hands-on experience with SAP TM in implementation, upgrade, and support projects, both standalone and S/4 Hana.
You are self-directed individual with a curious mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and creativity. You enjoy working in teams and collaborating with people from different cultures.
Ability to work under pressure, meet goals, and coordinate effectively.
Excellent communication and social skills, full working proficiency in English, and willingness to travel occasionally.
