We have an opportunity for 2 x 6-month day rate contractors to join our Technology Operations Team. We are seeking detailed oriented Windows 10/11 Vulnerability Remediation Specialist / Application Packager who will be responsible for working to remediate tracked vulnerabilities in our Windows 10/11 environments. This role involves some application packaging, coordinating with various stakeholders, engaging with customers and end users, and maintaining progress tracking in spreadsheets, or preferably PowerBi. This will enable us to maintain compliance with PCI requirements.
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Vulnerability Assessment: Identify and assess vulnerabilities within Windows 10/11 systems and applications.
- Rationalise: Rationalise the list of vulnerabilities to determine the best path for reducing outstanding vulnerability numbers
- Application Packaging & Deployment: Package newer or remediated applications for deployment, ensuring compatibility and security compliance. Familiarity with SCCM and MS Endpoint Manager (Intune) tools
- Coordination: Collaborate with IT teams, security personnel, and stakeholders to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Customer Engagement: Communicate effectively with colleagues, peers and management to understand their needs and provide updates on remediation efforts.
- Progress Tracking: Maintain and update spreadsheets to track the status of remediation activities, including timelines and outstanding issues.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and remediation efforts where required
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on vulnerability status and remediation progress for management review.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL NEED:
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in Windows 10/11 Vulnerability Remediation
- 3 years exp with Application Packaging for deployment through SCCM
- ITIL Exp / Qualifications
- Strong influencing and collaboration skills required
- Very strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to work within various team structures to deliver business outcomes
