Description:
Overview:
Element has an opportunity for an experienced Application Sales Engineer to join its growing commercial team within its Connected Technologies business. You would be supporting customers getting their products to market faster, supporting them from R&D to reality in the cutting edge of technology across multiple markets, including Medical, Automotive, Consumer, Industrial and IoT.
Responsibilities:
- Contact clients to qualify the potential of the quote request
- Prepare quotations with support from the engineering team
- Follow-up on quotations and secure orders for the assigned customer base and or quotations produced, providing clarification and modifications when required
- Proactively develop contacts and engage with customers using phone, email, and digital technology to build long lasting relationships
- Identify current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers, acting as a liaison between the customers and Element
- Actively utilise CRM to record activities and manage the sales pipeline
Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience in the Testing, Inspection and Certification industry
- Desirable to have skills in EMC / Radio Testing
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Work collaboratively in a dynamic driven team
- Positive, confident, and determined approach
- Self-motivated with a desire to achieve targets
- High levels of customer centricity
- Ability to effectively negotiate with external and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office
