JOB DESCRIPTION
Join our dynamic, fast-paced dairy enzyme team as an Applications Scientist working with the latest innovations in dairy enzymes. We’re looking for a driven individual with a strong commercial, scientific, and analytical background to join our application team. In this role, you’ll apply the latest enzyme technology to dairy products, serve as the go-to expert for our local application and sales team, and work on a team to drive our dairy enzyme business in the European market.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in biotechnology, food technology, food engineering, or related discipline
- 6+ years of experience in enzyme application and/or product development
- Experience in an R&D or product development environment
- Demonstrated capability in detailed results analysis
- Ability to prepare and deliver technical presentations
- Experience in dairy products and enzyme application
- Experience in chromatographic analyses (HPLC)
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time and priorities
- Commercial acumen and ability to balance technical and commercial needs
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer-focused, open-minded, and flexible
- Fluent in English
Responsibilities:
- Apply enzymes in a wide range of dairy products, including fresh-fermented, neutral, and frozen
- Perform detailed analyses of enzymatic performance and finished products
- Connect and engage with customers to promote our portfolio
- Independently operate and maintain our state-of-the-art pilot plant
- Conduct and evaluate pilot plant trials
- Manage ingredients inventory and product testing
- Develop and/or localize product concepts and demonstration kits
- Provide top-notch technical support across business functions
- Deliver engaging customer workshops and presentations
