Our Solution Architecture team is currently looking for a Application Solutions Architect to join their dynamic team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Applications Architect or similar role.

OTHER SKILLS

  • Expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform.
  • Excellent understanding of Application, Integrations, Automation & Cloud design patterns and architectures.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, Python etc.
  • Experience with developing applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of AI tools and technologies like CoPilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, ChatGPT, LLMs
  • Nice to have: Experience with healthcare systems: EMR, CRM, Billing etc.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to document and review enterprise architecture artifacts, including diagramming using tools like Visio, Miro, etc.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, SAFe, Zachman.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Interested in the latest technology and trends in application development.
  • Previous healthcare experience will be an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Design cloud-based and on-premises solutions using Microsoft 365, Power Platform etc.
  • Have background on programming languages like C#, Python, Javascript etc.
  • Provide architectural guidance and ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Lead design phase of deployment of various Enterprise Applications & Systems.
  • Develop proof of concepts (POCs) to validate solution approaches and demonstrate capabilities to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of AI tools & technologies like CoPilot Studio, Azure OpenAI etc.
  • Expertise in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, CoPilot Studio) to create business applications and automate workflows.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions are seamlessly integrated with other systems.
  • Run architectural & solutioning workshops with business groups.
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical input during the solutioning phase to ensure feasibility and scalability of proposed solutions.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
  • Propose and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance application performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with healthcare standards and best practices for security, data protection, and privacy.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential security threats.
  • Implement monitoring tools to track the performance and usage of applications, ensuring they meet established benchmarks and SLAs.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on the status and performance of application solutions to senior management.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for solutions and architectural designs.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members and peers to foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Assist in the migration of internal applications and data to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Participate in ongoing internal and external continuing education activities to stay updated with the latest advancements in technology.

  • Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel

    Work Location: Bayshore Healthcare, National Service Centre, 2101 Hadwen Rd, Mississauga, ON L5K 2L3.
    This is a Hybrid role, with a requirement to work onsite at least 2 days per week.
