APPLICATION SPECIALIST

We are expanding our business in Sweden and in the UK, and we are therefore looking for an Application Specialist to manage our solutions and join our team in Stockholm!
As an Application Specialist at BCB Medical, you will act as a key liaison between customers and the company’s technical, project and sales teams. Your primary role will be to provide expert product knowledge and support on the company’s solutions, helping customers understand, implement, and optimize their usage. The role also includes data handling, such as data exports and processing. Together with your colleagues of project managers and developers, you will manage existing business to ensure timely deliveries, meet customer needs, and maintain strong customer relationship. While the role requires strong technical knowledge, you will define and refine solutions. Our software developers will manage the technical implementation and development of new features. This position is full-time and permanent, based in Stockholm.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in IT and computer science or medical informatics or related field OR 2+ years’ experience as system administrator or application specialist. Experience within health or biotech is an advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Database knowledge.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and customer-friendly manner. Experience in conducting training and presentations is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, understand customer challenges, and develop practical solutions.
  • Language: Fluent in Swedish and English, knowledge of Finnish is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth technical and application support for our solutions, including troubleshooting, workflow optimization, and product integration.
  • Customer Engagement: Act as the primary contact for customers, offering guidance on the use of products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Training and Demonstration: Conduct on-site or remote product demonstrations, technical training sessions, and workshops for customers.
  • Product Configuration: Collaborate with product development teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions, ensuring products are optimized for our end users.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, project managers and IT team to provide technical insight into product improvements, market needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, application notes, and FAQs to support customer training and product usage.
  • Analytics: Data handling with knowledge of statistics as processing of data.
