Nordson Industrial Coating Systems , a global leader in application and curing equipment for powder coating, liquid spray painting, container coating and precision dispensing, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Application Specialist to join our team Germany . SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Electrician (university degree, apprenticeship, technician or similar)
• Has mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical (basic PLC / Industrial Controls) and electronic knowledge and skills to perform needed service and instruct others on maintaining Nordson equipment.
• Experience in Spray equipment is an advantage
• Customer oriented
• Team player for a multinational engineering team
• Language Skills in English and German on daily basis
• Valid driver’s license

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

You will support and service, as Application Specialist , our installed base in order to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with Nordson equipment, with your service and application expertise. You will provide trainings to customer’s engineers, maintenance and operators. And drive the sales of standard equipment and components in cooperation with Nordson Key Account Managers.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and service Nordson Industrial Coating Systems (ICS)-installed base within a given territory.
• Ensures high level of customer satisfaction by providing prompt and efficient service.
• Develop and strengthen customer relationships at different levels through personal contact.
• Self-starter focused on efficiency. Pays close attention to planning visits and travel routes in most efficient manner. All planning through Nordson CRM system.
• Performs audits of Nordson equipment, help customers with settings and final tunning of application, provide recommended spare part list .
• Conducts training schools for customer personnel.
• Maintains customer visit records inclusive of advised actions, tasks, next steps, etc.
• Promptly responds in emergency situations.
• Participates in the startup and commissioning of new systems. Install and commission new standard equipment.
• Prepare and execute lab tests.
