Description:
As an application support analyst, you work on a team tasked with supporting teams that use business applications to perform transactions for Wealth Management and Life and Health Insurance (WMLHI) clients. This multidisciplinary team of more than 60 professionals oversees the maintenance and development of the application portfolio. In this role, you will provide support and assistance to users of the Custody business line’s applications. You actively help ensure the quality of business solutions, problem solving, managing service requests and managing computer and technology incidents. Knowledge of securities, systems such as Global Plus, ANVIL, Financial, SWIFT or JIRA, XRAY tools are important assets for the position. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Analyze and diagnose issues, challenges and needs for your line of work
- Develop and propose solutions to various problems
- Follow up as needed to solve more complex or unusual problems
- Develop and help implement goals, solutions and action plans
- Help develop the testing strategy
- Identify the tests required to ensure coverage based on the target test level
- Rigorously carry out testing and follow up on test results as specified in the product quality strategy
- Serve as resource person for projects and initiatives specific to your area of expertise

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience (finance, application support, user tests, etc.)
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered Knowledge of French is required
- Intermediate knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
