Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Application Support Analyst to join our team in Bolton.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in a service desk environment who is skilled in troubleshooting, resolving issues within SLA targets, and providing high-quality support across business applications. You will work closely with internal teams and end-users to ensure that application-related issues are addressed promptly and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd/3rd line support for applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues in line with SLAs.
  • Act as the main point of contact for application-related incidents and requests, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
  • Monitor and manage support tickets, escalating complex cases when required.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and implement solutions.
  • Document issues and resolutions thoroughly, maintaining accurate records in the service management system.
  • Support Office 365 applications, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting user issues.
  • Conduct regular application maintenance, updates, and testing to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist with data analysis and reporting, utilising SQL, Excel, and Power BI where applicable.
