POSITION DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Software Development Manager, the Application Support Analyst will be working closely with the Software Product Manager and various Surrey Place personnel and stakeholders. This position will be responsible for resolving support issues and fixing minor bugs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of customer support experience in a technical support environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dynamics 365), as well as CRM applications.
  • Strong knowledge of JIRA, including managing JIRA tickets and JIRA workflows.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • In-depth understanding or relational database principles, data modeling, demonstrated knowledge of client databases and report generation using crystal reports, access queries, and SQL server reporting services.
  • Strong knowledge and work experience maintaining Dynamics CRM, Dynamics NAV or similar CRM and ERP systems and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, including with various levels in the organization.
  • Detail-oriented, solution-focused, takes initiative, and works well in a structured and process-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (both oral and written) skills.
  • A satisfactory Police Records Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening).
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Fluency in French is considered an asset.
