Job Description
Our client is one of Europe’s leaders in innovative and sustainable lighting solutions. This job opening is part of the BIS Integration project team, where we provide support for our customer’s SEEBURGER platform.
- Infrastructure and Basis System: technical operations of virtual machines, operating systems and databases including installation of updates in alignment with Server and Storage team. Handling of vulnerabilities detected by IT Security Team.
- Monitoring and performance: technical monitoring of virtual machines, operating systems and databases in alignment with Server and Storage team. Technical monitoring of network connectivity in alignment with Networking team. Technical monitoring of the BIS system in alignment with Monitoring team. Technical monitoring of the connectivity with business partners and service providers. Analyzing and tuning the system performance.
- Permissions: user creation and provide permissions for BIS system. Apply for licenses for BIS system (e.g. BIC Mapping Designer).
- Technical process: creation and extension of the new and existing workflows in BIS based on the requirements received from business.
- Repository and MapDB administration: deletion, unlock of objects etc.
- Technical operations of BIS system: Daily manual check of availability B2B Portal and BIS, readiness of operation of BIS components and processes, processes in status „Active“ and „Error“ in BIS Front-end. Setup and maintain technical connectivity to internal systems, to service providers (e.g. OpenText) and with business providers (incl. Handling of certificates + keys). Setup and maintain technical parameters in „Entities Explorer“ in BIS Front-end. Setup downtimes for remote systems (e.g. AS2, FTP, OFTP, RosettaNet, SFTP, SAP).
- Incident handling: from BIS-Users or system related incidents. Temporary contact to business partners (e.g. at connection setup)
- Other activities: migration activities.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a Technical Support Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in SEEBURGER BIS platforms.
- Hands-on experience with configuration and administration within the SEEBURGER BIS 6.7 environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
