ABOUT THE ROLE:
Are you passionate about leveraging technology to transform services and make a tangible impact on the community? At Southwark Council, we’re looking for an innovative and dedicated Applications Support Manager to lead our dynamic Technology and Digital Services (TDS) team in the management of Asset Management systems, the role is placed within the Finance division.
As an Applications Support Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our asset management applications, particularly focusing on Total Mobile Service Connect. You’ll be part of a specialist team, ensuring our applications run smoothly and efficiently, meeting the evolving needs of our user community. Your technical expertise and leadership will be instrumental in driving the continuous improvement and strategic development of our application portfolio.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and Innovate: Take charge of our applications, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. Bring your vision and leadership to system improvements and enhancements.
- Support and Collaborate: Provide exceptional service to our users, promptly addressing issues and requests. Work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, from senior managers to external partners, to resolve challenges and optimise our systems.
- Document and Share Knowledge: Ensure that our applications are well-documented and that knowledge is shared across the team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development.
- Drive Projects and Change: Assist in the project management of system upgrades and new application deployments. Ensure that user requirements are met and changes are controlled and tested in line with our strategic goals.
