Description:

Position Scope
The Application Technologist gets involved with system design, creating technical drawings, and drafting support documents related to the equipment offered. Strong communication skill is required to explain technical concepts to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create 2D drawings of our custom products with accuracy and efficiency
  • Check drawings for conformance to standards and design requirements
  • Explain technical concepts to our customers in an easy-to-understand format
  • Maintain files and records of all drawings in our systems
  • Maintain and update existing templates
  • Create draft analysis reports along with tables and charts
  • Perform other related duties

QUALIFICATIONS & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Sound knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to travel to domestic and international job-sites
  • Knowledge of P&ID and refrigeration schematic would be preferred but not required
