Description:
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Good level of education and qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a property related role.
· Excellent PC skills, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
· Full driving licence preferred but not essential (max of 3 penalty points preferred).
COMPANY CONTINUED PROFESSIONAL PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT DAYS (CPD):
· The company will take the opportunity to close the office and bring in speakers to help develop our team for continued professional and personal development and will cover the cost of the training from external companies. This is typically 3 times a year from 4.30pm – 6.30pm on a weekday and is included in salary.
· There is also provision for an additional 2 Saturdays per annum, for Training and Essential Cover Time (TCT). Please note that typically only 1 TCT day is used, during the Christmas period to help the team.
· ARLA level training will be provided with the opportunity to obtain the ARLA Level 6 Qualification funded by the company.
· Additional company sponsored training courses are also available and team members are encouraged to take ownership of their personal and professional development by seeking opportunities to learn.
· Career progression opportunities available within 12 months.
· Regular 1-1 meetings and reviews with line manager to discuss personal development, performance and progression.
· Wellbeing check-ins.
Responsibilities:
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Whilst the role has a wide and varied remit, including document and data administration, attention to detail, right attitude and work ethic, key areas of responsibilities are:
· Main point of contact for applicants for properties, involving dealing with enquiries, administration and tenant referencing.
· Managing the applications via Online and handwritten submissions. Ensuring accurate data and document management. Following procedures for applications process
· Taking full responsibility for the tenant referencing process.
· Answering the telephone – taking correct and full details – numbers, names, property numbers and managing general enquiries.
· Communicating with the Head of Applications and Property Managers (where required), regarding applications in their portfolios where applicable.
· Working closely with Viewings department, helping booking viewings and sending relevant information to ensure viewings will go ahead smoothly and procedures followed every time.
· Creating tenancy agreements and sending them for signing, following internal procedures and ensuring correct information sent.
· Updating company data base and tracker.
· Becoming involved in projects which seek to improve the processing of applications. Including improvement of standard forms and templates and the ways we work throughout the office.
· Assisting and helping the Lettings and wider SPM team members where required.
· Following the 7-step SouthSide Referencing Procedure (SRP).
· Ensuring accuracy of information
· Following timescales with applicants
