Description:
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: While typical degrees in technical engineering or sciences at an advanced level are preferred, we also consider equivalent experiences of at least 0-2 years. We encourage applicants from various educational backgrounds to apply, as we believe that equivalent experience can be just as valuable.
- Experience: Demonstrated ability in a research or development environment. Hands-on experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment such as DualBeam, FIB, SEM, or similar. Knowledge of problem-solving techniques, operational optimization, and experience with analytical equipment, specifically electron/ion microscopes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, for a diverse audience are crucial to success in this role.
- Excellent customer interfacing skills.
- Proven ability to work well with multi-functional and cross-cultural teams.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 25%; possession of a valid passport.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, characterize, and document workflows or applications that automate small and wafer dual beam microscope functionality for semiconductor customers.
- Use automated software for scanning electron microscope applications (i.e. AutoTEM/iFast/Python/Machine Learning).
- Create customer training material and collaborate with the team to translate customer needs into workable solutions.
- Provide technical support to assist with all phases of the sales cycle.
- Cultivate positive customer relationships, clearly communicate customer needs/requirements to key partners, give in-depth technical presentations, and assist in applications development.
- Provide customer support and applications training after instrument installation.
- Provide continuous feedback to the product groups on system performance, features, and potential problems while collaborating with marketing/development groups on future product developments.
