Description:
OVERVIEW:
MPS is seeking a highly self motivated Applications Engineer with good knowledge in embedded firmware for different applications. This person will develop firmware for a embedded power and IoT Projects (MQTT, Actuators, Sensors).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Electrical Engineering; MS is preferred
- Some exposure to IoT MQTT, or other network based communications protocol
- Experience with ARM-based MCU is preferred
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem- solving environment
- Make it happen attitude. Adapt to the situation and find the way to solve the problems and work around.
- Good oral and written skills for communication and documentation
- Self-motivated, strong team player
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate SW requirements for development the solutions.
- Design & Implement the software considering the hardware design.
- Work with hardware team to define the implementation of the optimal solutions
- Perform system and low level testing of implemented solutions
- Work with our test equipment tool in define new needs
