Description:

Description
The UCLA Department of Neurology seeks a part-time Applications Programmer to develop programs used in our Research Only-Phase 3 NIH-funded clinical trial. These programs include a custom developed desktop application written using OpenGL and written in VB.net, which provide the therapy to the end users (patients with stroke), plus an ASP.Net web application where licensed therapists at each site can assign, train, and monitor therapies. There will also be an application that is used by staff at the study’s primary site (UCLA) to manage the 35 other sites and their users. The Applications Programmer will be the lead in addressing any issues that arise during the study, which include monitoring system uptime, proper data handshake and transmission, testing, bug fixing, security, patching, and the development of new modules as needed. You are responsible for the overall setup, testing, deployment, and training of the TR systems.
