Description:

The American International School - Riyadh is seeking a certified ABA Therapist/Shadow Teacher to work one-on-one with a student. Please only apply if you meet the minimum criteria below; candidates who do not meet the minimum criteria will not be considered.

QUALIFICATIONS & CRITERIA:

  • Candidate must be under his/her spouse’s sponsorship (please do not apply if you do not meet this criteria)
  • KSA Dependent Status: Holder of valid Saudi Iqama (Residence permit) under husband/wife sponsorship.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Education or Psychology.
  • Certification/Training in ABA Therapy or RBT.
  • Master’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
  • A proven record of excellence in prior professional posts for a minimum of two years .
  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Reports to: Designated AIS-R Family [This is not an AIS-R contracted position]

  • Partners with families through ongoing communication, conferences and the accurate reporting of student progress honoring divisional reporting timelines/expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation and implementation of a behavior modification plan.
  • The Shadow teacher will work one-on-one with a student to provide individualized support.
    Terms of Employment and Additional Responsibilities:
    This is not an AIS-R contracted position. The terms of employment for the shadow teacher will be discussed directly with the family whose child will receive 1-on-1 support. Compensation will be provided by the family as per the agreed upon terms. Start Date: Immediate Start. End Date: June 2024 Work hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (2:30 pm on Tuesdays)
