JOB INFORMATION
As an Applied Data Scientist, you will work under the guidance of the Applied Data Science Manager to develop and implement advanced statistical and computational methods to solve complex business problems. Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including executives, department heads, and business unit leaders
- Identify business opportunities to drive topline growth, revenue generation, and cost saving projects
- Engage with the organization to promote adoption and continual improvement of solutions
Process Innovation
- Champion the adoption of automation tools and innovative technologies to streamline repetitive tasks, reduce manual effort, and improve overall process scalability
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML models and advanced processes for maximizing financial impact, automating decision-making processes, and improving operational efficiency
- Collaborate with academic institutions, industry partners, and research communities to stay at the forefront of innovation in data science and process optimization
Advanced Analytics
- Utilize statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling to solve business problems and drive strategic decision-making
- Identify relevant data sources and variables for analysis, leveraging both structured and unstructured data, to generate key insights for business improvement
