WHAT YOU BRING
We are looking for a driven and motivated team player with at least a Master’s Degree in Data Science or related fields. You should be experienced in Python programming and in distributed computing frameworks, e.g. Apache Spark. In addition familiarity with a wide range of ML/AI algorithms, statistical models, ML architectures as well as ETL pipelines is required. In more detail candidates should be experienced in:
- ML development (e.g. scikit-learn, MLLib, Keras, Pytorch, TensorFlow, etc.)
- Big Data and analytics (e.g. Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, etc.)
- Hyperscaler platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Regular usage of software version control and testing (e.g., GitHub, Git, Jenkins, etc.)
- Strong background in data engineering best practices
- Broad knowledge of MLOps best practices

Summary:
We are looking for a top-notch Data Scientist with solid background in data engineering to support our agile AI development team in exploring the data and developing AI/ML models for SAP’s internal business organizations.
The Role:
- Work with a global, agile team of data scientists, AI/ML engineers and software engineers on AI/ML modeling and deployment pipelines
- Communicate with global stakeholders to understand software development processes and model input data together with the AI PO
- Support the build of end-to-end AI solutions for generating insights and automation for a variety of business processes
- Implement ETL pipelines in big data scenarios
- Execute MLOps: continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous training for your ML models
- Keep up-to-date with state-of-the-art algorithms and technologies in AI and data science
