Description:

Responsabilités:

  • Exécuter des inspections, des diagnostics et des réparations complètes et précises des véhicules.
  • Inspecter quotidiennement les postes de travail afin d’assurer la propreté et la sécurité de l’atelier.
  • Former, superviser et vérifier le travail exécuté par les apprentis. Partager ses compétences et ses connaissances avec les membres du personnel.
  • Estimer le coût et la durée des interventions d’entretien et de réparation pour le véhicule et donner cette estimation au conseiller technique.
  • Effectuer et analyser les bons de réparation et les rapports d’inspection du véhicule avec le client et les conseillers techniques.
  • Assurer l’entretien de l’équipement et des outils vous appartenant et ceux appartenant au centre-auto, au besoin.
  • Actualiser ses connaissances concernant l’exploitation, l’entretien et les réparations de la plupart des véhicules nord-américains et importés.
  • Effectuer des tests routiers conformément à la politique du magasin.
  • Faire attention aux outils et à l’équipement de l’atelier.
  • Participer aux réunions et aux formations requises et écouter les feedbacks afin d’améliorer ses propres capacités.
  • Se conformer aux politiques du centre-auto, du magasin et de la compagnie.
  • Respecter tous les programmes et règles de santé et de sécurité. Signaler immédiatement tout danger ou risque de danger observé.
  • Utiliser un langage professionnel et avoir une apparence professionnelle (p. ex. uniforme, hygiène et porte-nom) lors des interactions avec les autres.
  • Effectuer d’autres tâches, au besoin.

Exigences :

  • Connaissance des technologies automobiles actuelles.
  • Permis de mécanicien et permis de conduire valides dans la province d’emploi.
  • Capacité de travailler efficacement avec des systèmes informatisés.
  • Bonne connaissance pratique de CoStar, un atout.
  • Expérience à un poste comparable, dans un centre-auto Canadian Tire, un atout.

  • Instructs monitors and verifies work completed by apprentices. Shares skill set and knowledge with staff members.
  • Estimates cost and time for service and repair needs on the customer’s vehicle to Service Advisor.
  • Completes and reviews repair orders and vehicle inspection reports with customers and/or service advisors.
  • Maintains company and personally-owned equipment and tools, as required.
  • Remains current with up-to-date knowledge of the operation, maintenance and repair of most domestic and imported vehicles.
  • Performs road tests in compliance with store policy.
  • Is respectful of all shop tools and equipment.
  • Participates in meetings and all training as required and listens to feedback to improve their own abilities.
  • Complies with company, store and Automotive Service Centre policies.
  • Abides by all health and safety programs and regulations. Reports any observed or potential hazards immediately.
  • Uses professional language and maintains a professional appearance (e.g., uniform, hygiene, grooming and name tag) when interacting with others.
  • Completes other tasks, as required.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of current automobile technology.
  • Valid mechanic’s license and driver’s licence for province of employment.
  • Ability to work effectively with computerized systems.
  • Good working knowledge of CoStar is considered an asset.
  • Experience in a similar role, in a Canadian Tire Auto Service Centre, is considered an asset.
