Sikorsky Australia has been awarded the Through Life Support contract for the Royal Australian Navy’s MH-60R (Romeo) maritime fleet The MH-60R represents the next generation tactical maritime helicopter for the Royal Australian Navy.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
Responsibilities:
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Our Apprentice Mechanical technicians will be responsible for assisting with the hands-on repair, maintenance and servicing of Romeo Seahawk aircraft and equipment. The mechanical trade is specifically responsible for the airframe, flight control, engine and landing gear systems on the Aircraft. While undergoing training in the various aspects of your trade, you may be required to move between Sikorsky and our partner’s facilities as well at travel to attend theory-based training, ensuring you gain the required expertise to successfully complete the unit standards required for your apprenticeship.
