Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am – 2.30pm.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 3 GCSE’s at “C” or above (or equivalent qualification)

DESIRED SKILLS:

• A proven or enthusiastic interest in auto electrics/electrics

• Shadowing experienced electricians and service engineers
• Learning to drill and tap and build basic wiring looms
• Learning how to assemble Xwatch safety systems ready for install
• Gaining a good insight into basic install techniques
• Building and installing wiring harnesses onto plant machinery
• Leaning how to connect complex machine kit to electrical test board in preparation for testing
• Understand about the design of Can Bus and M12 connectors
• Keeping comprehensive record logs of any work completed to evidence learning and development
