Description:
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Third year Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The Apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. This role requires a strong willingness to learn and develop mechanical skills while contributing to the overall success of our service department.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic mechanical knowledge with a keen interest in automotive repair is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in automotive maintenance.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn from experienced mechanics and take constructive feedback positively.
- A valid driver’s license is an asset but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive environment is a plus but not required.

- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of vehicle components as directed by senior technicians.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various automotive repair tasks.
- Learn to read and interpret automotive schematics to understand vehicle systems.
- Support the team in heavy lifting and moving parts or equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

- Follow all safety protocols and dealership policies while performing duties.
