POSITION OVERVIEW:

Ball Beverage Packaging are looking for a dynamic candidate to join their ever-growing team of highly skilled engineers. Our people are our biggest strength and as we look to grow further we are looking for an apprentice that has desire to be best in the field Electro-Mechanical dual skilled engineer. A fantastic career in engineering awaits someone who has the passion, energy and willingness to learn and develop over the apprenticeship term.
With this apprenticeship, you will work towards becoming a dual biased level 2 Electro-Mechanical Engineer and be an important part of the sites future in an industry that creates infinitely recyclable packaging solutions.
Working week Monday to Friday, shifts Hours TBC
Total hours per week: 39
Expected duration: 42 Months
Possible start date: September 2024

Responsibilities:

  • The apprentice will become a member of the company’s highly skilled team of engineers to support the operations.
  • You will collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians to learn and apply electro mechanical fundamental principles, best practices & technical skills.
  • Learn the process of research, data gathering, designing and development of continuous improvement projects.
  • Participate in testing and analysis activities to evaluate the performance, operation and safety of various engineering systems & components.
  • Learn how to troubleshoot technical problems and propose potential solutions.
  • Learn and help ensure the adherence to quality standards & industry regulations throughout the engineering process.
