WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Bioresource Maintenance technician Apprentice, you’ll:

• Ensure Sludge Treatment Centres and Water Recycling sites operate reliably and effectively.
• Play a key role in handling sewage sludge, a vital byproduct of wastewater treatment, to ensure clean water is returned safely to the environment.
• Conduct routine inspections and proactive maintenance to prevent equipment issues.
• Troubleshoot and repairing mechanical and electrical faults to keep operations running smoothly.
• Carry out daily planned maintenance, general repairs, and fault fixes on Water Recycling equipment.
• Identify issues with equipment, fault-finding, and resolving more complex problems.
• Follow strict compliance, safety protocols, and environmental standards in all tasks.
• Contribute directly to protecting communities and the environment through your work.
