Description:
Hexagon is seeking an ambitious Design Support/Apprentice to join our growing team and further their career in the Civil Engineering industry. You will work within our Design team and manage the business’s structural engineering delivery. You will join an enthusiastic and driven team supporting your career development.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Complete college course
- Complete training workbook
- Achieve all targets and pass grades
- Assist drawing packs
- Assist with standards
- Assist with QA
The Person
- Computer literate and proficient with structural engineering packages and MS Office
- Knowledgeable within current design, rail and British standards
- Must be a hardworking individual who is willing to learn
- Must have effective written and verbal communication
- Experience in the industry is essential
- Should be able to focus on attention to detail
- Must be able to manage their time efficiently
The Specifics
- Location: Morley, Leeds
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 17:00pm. Friday 08:00 - 15:30pm.
- Contract: Full-time/Permanent
