QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Qualified to Leaving Certificate or equivalent standard
- Five passes in the Leaving Certificate (Maths and English must be two of these)
- Achieved O6 – O1 in Leaving Certificate Maths
- Up-to-date Safe Pass and Manual Handling Training Certifications.
- Interest in Mechanical or Electrical systems
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude. Good work ethic and solutions focused.
- Appreciate the importance of adherence to all safety regulations. Safety First always.

- Working closely with experienced electricians to develop your skills and knowledge.
- Following all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Assembly and installation of electrical equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Pulling, glanding and termination of cabling systems
- Diagnosis of malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a fault and correct the problem.
- Installation of Cable management systems e.g. cable ladder/tray
- Installation of HV circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Inspection of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
- Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous
