An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Financial Assessment Support Officer role within Adult Services and Wellbeing. This role plays an integral part of the team’s success and performance, contributing to the care charges process for care and support arranged by the service.

Dealing with incoming electronic requests, responding where possible or creating work items in the workflow management system for the request to be dealt with.
Responding to calls and emails from the public and internal colleagues.
Learning to carry out accurate financial assessments for adoption and special guardianship allowances.
Working directly with customers, or their appointed representatives, guiding them through the financial assessment process for people receiving care and support at home or in a care home.
Learning to update and have an oversight of data recording systems, ensuring data is accurately recorded daily, for statistical monitoring purposes
