As an aircraft mechanic specializing in maintenance technology, you will work in a team on aircraft and engine checks, carry out maintenance and overhaul work and carry out inspections and repairs. You will assemble individual parts into functional subsystems and install them in aircraft. You will work according to drawings, manuals and instructions, which are often written in English. Careful work and adherence to safety precautions and rules are particularly important in this profession.
The apprenticeship to become an aircraft mechanic is a 3.5-year dual apprenticeship, which takes place alternately in the company and at vocational school.
