The opportunity:
You’ll be responsible for wide range of responsibilities.
- Assisting in maintaining & repairing our fleet of modern transport vehicles, construction maintenance & sealing equipment, light vehicles & small plant.
- Utilising your previous experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Attending call outs as & when required.
You’ll use your good people skills to build genuine and lasting relationships with our customers, and our people. And you’ll have the skills and experience to help us achieve our strategic objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Working towards a Trade qualification or other relevant NZQA for the role.
- Full NZ Class 1 Driver’s License, class 2 or higher would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of machines, materials, and tools, used for repairs and maintenance.
- Equipment selection – determining the tools and equipment needed to do the job.
- Good industry knowledge
