SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of high school diploma or vocational equivalent
- Must be enrolled in an accredited provincial journeyman’s program with the goal to earn full journeyman certification as an automotive repair technician (310S) or provincial equivalent.
- Working knowledge of technical repairs and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer services skills.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnoses and performs work as outlined on repair order under the supervision of a Licensed Technician with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership, factory and warranty policies and procedures.
- Discusses any problems related to the repair with their supervising Technician or Service Manager.
- Performs basic equipment maintenance and maintenance records.
- Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
- Reviews all repairs with a Supervising Technician.
- Performs other duties as required by the Service Manager to ensure the successful operation of the dealership.
