We are looking for exceptional people to join the Wessex Garages Vehicle Technician Apprenticeship programme at our Nissan - Hadfield Rd, Cardiff dealership.
The Vehicle Technician Apprenticeship is geared towards training the next generation of fully-fledged Vehicle Technicians. But what does a Vehicle Technician actually do?

Vehicle Technicians are trained in all areas of vehicle mechanics and electronics, from engine and exhaust systems to air conditioning and security features. The duties of a Vehicle Technician may include:

• Servicing vehicles – carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturers.
• Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components
• Communicating with the Service Advisors about required repairs
• Producing time estimates
• Maintaining repair and service records

DESIRED SKILLS:

Communication skills, IT skills, Team working, Attention to detail, Proactive, Initiative, Manual Skills, Driving Licence (advantageous)
