Responsibilities:
DUTIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Undertake site electrical installations including lighting and power, cable tray/ladder, cable installation and switchgear installation
- Carrying out Inspections and testing to both new and existing installations
- Being able to take the role as lead electrician on projects, reporting to the Site Manager and Project Manager
- Aiding the high voltage teams on larger site installations
- Mentoring and coaching less experienced staff and apprentices in developing their knowledge and skills
- Carrying out work in a safe manner, always adhering to health and safety procedures
- Taking personal ownership and responsibility of any company property entrusted to you
- Projecting a professional image to clients and colleagues
- Contributing to the future success of Powersystems and its clients

HERES WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE:
- Must hold a JIB approved ECS card
- Time served approved electrician having served recognised apprenticeship to 18th Edition
- Inspection testing (2391 or equivalent)
- Experience of working within the electrical power sector desirable
- Experience of working on construction sites
- Experience working on commercial and industrial installations
- Ability to work proactively on own or as part of a team
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
