Responsibilities:

DUTIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Undertake site electrical installations including lighting and power, cable tray/ladder, cable installation and switchgear installation
  • Carrying out Inspections and testing to both new and existing installations
  • Being able to take the role as lead electrician on projects, reporting to the Site Manager and Project Manager
  • Aiding the high voltage teams on larger site installations
  • Mentoring and coaching less experienced staff and apprentices in developing their knowledge and skills
  • Carrying out work in a safe manner, always adhering to health and safety procedures
  • Taking personal ownership and responsibility of any company property entrusted to you
  • Projecting a professional image to clients and colleagues
  • Contributing to the future success of Powersystems and its clients

HERES WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE:

  • Must hold a JIB approved ECS card
  • Time served approved electrician having served recognised apprenticeship to 18th Edition
  • Inspection testing (2391 or equivalent)
  • Experience of working within the electrical power sector desirable
  • Experience of working on construction sites
  • Experience working on commercial and industrial installations
  • Ability to work proactively on own or as part of a team
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence
