Penner Farm Services is currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Technician/ Receptionist for our Blumenort, MB location.
The Accounts Receivable Technician / Receptionist is responsible for communicating with customers to ensure accounts are current and up to date, supporting the collection process, and posting payments. This role is also responsible for providing reception, switchboard and administrative services for the office and retail store, communicating with customers, vendors, visitors and co-workers alike. May include other Accounting/Finance tasks as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Grade 12 education or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative position.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated experience operating a multi-line switchboard.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Excellent internal/external customer service orientation and good teamwork skills.
- Experience with Microsoft GP and Salespad would be considered and asset

Responsibilities:
- Providing reception services for the office and retail store, communicating professionally and effectively with customers, visitors and co-workers.
- Providing efficient, effective communication and switchboard services for the office and retail store, representing the Company professionally to customers, visitors and co-workers. Ensuring calls are promptly and correctly routed to the appropriate individuals or Departments, relaying messages accurately in a timely manner and representing the Company well to others.
- Assisting Accounting/Finance by accurately preparing bank deposits in a timely manner, as well as receipting cheques likewise.
- Processing all end of day reports for Manitoba locations
- Reviewing and posting daily sales invoices.
- Sorting and preparing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Purchasing of office supplies, plus additional office duties such as accurately filing documents and correspondence and copying documents.
- Printing and organizing all outgoing customer statements each month end.
- Assisting other staff as well as additional office related projects and assignments as required.
- Running credit card payments for all customers
