The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Arbitration Lawyer to join our prestigious law firm located in the heart of Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in arbitration law, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of successfully representing clients in complex arbitration proceedings. The Arbitration Lawyer will play a critical role in advising clients on arbitration strategies, drafting arbitration agreements, and representing them in hearings. Responsibilities: - Provide legal advice and representation to clients in arbitration matters, including commercial arbitration and investment treaty arbitration. - Draft, review, and negotiate arbitration agreements and related documentation. - Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support arbitration cases. - Prepare and submit arbitration pleadings, motions, and other necessary documentation. - Represent clients in arbitration hearings and manage all aspects of the arbitration process. - Collaborate with clients to develop effective arbitration strategies tailored to their needs. - Stay updated on developments in arbitration law and best practices. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support throughout the arbitration process. - Mentor and guide junior lawyers and support staff in arbitration-related matters. - Participate in business development activities to promote the firm’s arbitration services and expand the client base.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with a degree in law from a recognized university and admission to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction. - Minimum of 5 years of experience specializing in arbitration law, with a strong emphasis on commercial and investment arbitration. - Proven track record of successfully representing clients in arbitration proceedings, including experience in international arbitration (ICC, LCIA, SIAC, etc.). - Strong understanding of arbitration laws and regulations in the UAE and internationally. - Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively. - Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills, with a confident and persuasive approach. - Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. - Strong client management skills with a commitment to providing exceptional service. - Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus. - A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a passion for arbitration and a commitment to professional development.
