Job Title: Archery Instructor
Branch: Upper Main Line YMCA
Pay Class: Part Time
Shifts/Availability: Tuesdays 4-6pm and Saturdays 10:30-2pm

Position Purpose: The Upper Main Line YMCA is looking for an enthusiastic Archery Instructor to plan, organize and deliver value-driven programs to participants in accordance with YMCA goals and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • US Archery Level 1 Instructor certification required
  • Demonstrate ability to develop and teach skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to relate and positively interact with children and adults
  • Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and lead Youth activities for all participants
  • Lead with enthusiasm and positive motivation
  • Organize and maintain program records including, but not limited to: attendance records, rosters, etc.
  • Manage all equipment
  • Maintain a clean and risk-free environment
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants and that all children are picked up by parent/guardian
  • Communicate positively and accurately with all the parents/guardians of participants
  • Promote other YMCA programs with participants and parents/guardians
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
